#4. Australia
Probably my personal favorite country out of the 55 I have visited. There is just something so special and unique about all the offerings available in Australia. I remember my first visit at age 14 to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkeling with Sharks, Sea turtles, Giant Clams, etc. I had never seen anything like it ever and still to this day haven’t. I remember riding a camel at sunset in the outback to a bonfire in the middle of the desert with an aborigine man playing the didgeridoo under the stars. I remember being strapped into a harness to the Sydney Harbor bridge as we walked across the entire upper span of the bridge looking down at the entire city. Australia is just full of breathtaking experiences, one’s that will stay with you forever. It’s those amazing experiences that create lasting memories that people covet the most from their honeymoon destination and Australia delivers those memories in spades.

Hawaii has always been a perennial honeymoon hotspot even before Zika became a concern. The reason being is that Hawaii has the look and feel of Bali, Bora Bora, Fiji but it has more to do than just the beach. In Hawaii you have volcano’s, waterfalls, mountains, valleys, black sand beaches, white sand beaches, hiking trails galore, rain forest, rivers, basically almost everything and adventure seeking active couple would be looking for on their honeymoon. You also have some of the best restaurants and most innovative cuisine using the freshest ingredients from local farmers and fisherman. Couple that with the fact it’s English speaking, safe, easy to get around, has wonderful weather year-round, welcoming locals, and is easy to get to make it a wonderful choice for a Zika free honeymoon.
