P1 — Procrastination: Looked, But NOT BOOKED!!!

You have just about everything for your wedding planned and under deposit. Your wedding is one day and your honeymoon is one week or longer, and it’s not booked! Why not? There is so much procrastination on booking your honeymoon because you are busy at work, too tired to look at brochures and the internet, and you are getting stressed and overwhelmed by all of the places and prices. The exception to these timelines is if you are planning your honeymoon for one of the major Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Christmas, etc). On these Holiday weekends, over 50% of weddings occur which creates a huge surge on honeymoon travel in addition to the normal holiday vacation travelers packing the airlines and resorts. Don’t procrastinate and book your holiday honeymoon at least six months ahead!

P2 – Priority: She Wants A PERFECT 10 HONEYMOON

When couples are asked to rate the importance of their honeymoon trip vs. another vacation, women prioritize it as either a 9 or 10, thus making it one of the most memorable trips they ever wish to take. Men, however, usually rate the priority of this trip between a 4-7 because it’s “just a vacation”. The women are right! Your honeymoon is NOT your family vacation, spring break or summer vacation. P3 – Planning: WHO You Plan With Is The MOST IMPORTANT STEP

The most important aspect of this trip is planning. The right destination and resort are the key to the perfect honeymoon. We have over 30 years of experience planning stylish getaways to the world’s most romantic and exclusive destinations. We search the globe for hidden gems and carefully select and recommend the resorts that value our partnership and in turn value you as a guest. We will meet with you one on one to match you to the perfect destination and unique resort that best fits your dream, style and budget. There’s no substitute for firsthand knowledge. Our well traveled consultants have personally visited the destinations, resorts, hotels and restaurants we recommend. We provide expert guidance that most other travelers miss and access to unique experiences that Trip Advisor or the resorts don’t. You want your honeymoon to be as special as the memories of your wedding day!

Step 1: Contact us to set up an in-office honeymoon consultation or teleconference for both the bride and groom.

Step 2: We meet or teleconference with you. We prefer to meet in person for the initial consultation because we rely strongly on your reactions and body language.

Step 3: During the appointment we will discuss your ideas and expectations for the honeymoon. After which, our consultants will advise the best course of action and provide 2-3 recommendations for your perfect honeymoon.

Step 4: We can communicate from this point forward by phone, fax, or email with suggestions, customized proposals and competitive pricing.

Step 5: You say “Love It and Book It” You give us your deposit, either by phone, email or, if you wish, in person. That’s it.

Step 6: Final payment, depending on the destination, is normally due 45 to 60 days prior to departure.

Step 7: 3-4 weeks after Final Payment your documents come to our office. We call you for your Wrap Up Appointment to review your documents and give personalized travel tips on your destination, and answer any final questions. Then you are off to a Perfect Honeymoon!

Step 8: Our service does not end there. We are your life line! If there’s an emergency or you need to make a change while on your trip, we are here to use our 30 years of contacts with the airlines and resorts to handle things as smoothly as possible.

Step 9: Upon your return, we will contact you for your feedback. Please post your honeymoon photos on our Facebook page, write a testimonial and refer us to your friends and family.

Step 10: Contact us for your anniversary, babymoon or future vacation getaways!

P4 – Pricing: Good Taste Requires Good Budget

After years of planning perfect honeymoons, what is the one obstacle we encounter most? Your taste and style typically overstep your budget. The average couple spends $6,000 for their honeymoon. The cost of a honeymoon trip for DC Metropolitan couples ranged from :
